- Purpose: To raise awareness, support individuals with CP, and recognize caregivers.
- Significance: Established to increase understanding of the most common motor disability in children.
- Colors/Themes: Supporters often wear green and use the hashtag #GoGreen4CP.
- Global Day: While the U.S. observes March 25, World Cerebral Palsy Day is a separate global event.
People with CP can do anything
- Cerebral Palsy does not define a person’s potential.
- People with CP can achieve anything, they may just take a different path to get there.
- CP affects movement, not intelligence, personality, or determination.
- Strength looks different for everyone, and people with CP show strength every single day.
- Adaptive tools and technology open doors, making independence and success possible in countless ways.
